I am a researcher pursuing a PhD in English Literature at the University of Bristol, UK. My research focuses on understanding the transformative imagination within the context of the global novel. I'm currently exploring how contemporary postcolonial and world novels grapple with the challenge of envisioning significant social, political, and economic change. I hold an MA by Research in English Literature from the University of Birmingham, where I examined the dynamics of irony, narcissism, and affect.
I also work as an Assistant Professor of English at CHA University in South Korea. My responsibilities include developing reading and writing skills with students from various disciplines. I've also designed and delivered content courses covering English literature, global social issues, 20th century American film & culture, and 20th century history and news media. In addition, I have been part of lecture series initiatives funded by the UISPC (University Innovation Support Project, Korean government).
